This Privacy Policy explains how Name Generator ("we", "us", or "the site") handles information when you visit namegeneratorcloud.com. We keep things simple: you do not need an account, and the name generators run in your browser.

Information we collect

We do not ask you to register, and we do not knowingly collect personal information such as your name or email unless you choose to send it to us by email. The names you generate are produced in your browser and are not stored on our servers.

Like most websites, we and our third-party providers automatically receive standard technical information when you visit, such as your browser type, device, approximate location and pages viewed. This is used to understand traffic and improve the site.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them for analytics and advertising, as described below. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work as intended.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (for example, which generators are popular), and Microsoft Clarity to see how pages are actually used (aggregated heatmaps and session replays). Advertising

The site is being prepared for advertising through Google AdSense and is not currently displaying ads. Advertising cookies will only be used once advertising has been enabled and, where required by law, only after you have given consent. When that happens, this page will be updated and the terms below will apply.

The site uses Google Consent Mode v2, so the signals it sends to Google can be adjusted per region as the law requires. Before advertising is enabled, a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) supporting the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework will be layered on top for EEA, UK and Swiss visitors, and advertising cookies will be set for them only after they have given consent through it.

You can opt out at any time by blocking or clearing cookies in your browser settings, by installing the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, or by using your browser's “Do Not Track” / tracking-protection features. Opting out does not affect processing that already took place, and the generators themselves keep working either way — they need no cookies at all.

Legal basis for processing (EEA/UK)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on your consent for advertising cookies, and on our legitimate interest in operating, measuring and securing the site for analytics and for the basic technical data (such as IP address and request logs) that any web server necessarily receives. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest by contacting us.

Data retention

We hold no user accounts and no database of visitors. Google Analytics retains event-level data according to the retention period configured in that product, after which it is deleted automatically. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to deal with the matter you wrote about.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, or to object to certain processing (for example under the GDPR or CCPA). Because we do not maintain user accounts, the simplest way to exercise any request is to email us at [email protected].

Children's privacy

The site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
